Message	I ran an Ashpec mail-order tune for years with stock cats in good condition and never had a problem passing. I recently had my Z tuned by SZ and tried to pass with stock cats, came super close, but still wouldn't pass after two runs. Called SZ and he told me retard timing. I retarded the timing, tried again and passed easily. MY '94 doesn't have AIV but I have my EGR deleted so that shouldn't be causing your problem. See my profile for more details.
